Southwest Georgia Bank held a ground breaking ceremony today for its new 9,000 sf branch which will be located in Tifton, GA. CBI is designing and building the new branch.
Peach State Federal Credit Union celebrated the grand opening of its new branch facility in Oconee County with a ribbon cutting ceremony today. The new branch is located at 1260 Mars Hill Road, Suite 127 in Watkinsville, Georgia. Originally founded in 1961 as Gwinnett Teachers Credit Union, Peach State now serves more than 49,000 members. Peach State’s future is bright. With a commitment to their internal values and a focused strategy for future growth, the credit union is prepared to help more people afford life than ever. Peach State’s new “branch of the future” in Oconee County offers a new, smarter way to bank. The traditional teller line has been replaced with staff who can assist members with their financial needs in personal way. Associated Credit Union recently awarded CBI a renovation project for a 3,700 sf branch located in Peachtree Corners, GA. Renovations will include new LED lighting, teller pods to replace the teller line, new carpet and furniture.
LGE Community Credit Union recently awarded CBI a micro branch project in Marietta, GA. The new, 2,065 sf micro branch will be located in the Parkside West Cobb shopping center. Two Intelligent ATM’s will be used in the lobby for their delivery method as well as a 24-hr walk-up ATM. This branch will operate with three to four employees using telepresence to discuss investments with experts housed in the main office. Instant issue credit cards will be available to members for added convenience. Additional features for members will be incorporated including music playing throughout the space, coffee and filtered water.
LGE Community Credit Union held their annual Christmas breakfast this morning where employees gathered to share a meal but more importantly to give over $157,000 dollars to local charities and individuals in need through the LGE Community Outreach Foundation. CBI is proud to support the LGE Foundation to help make a difference in the lives of those in the community including children, homeless, abuse victims and those that fall on hard times. The Foundation, which is based on the credit union principle of “People Helping People,” organizes and conducts fundraisers to raise money to contribute to local non-profit organizations.
