Consultants and Builders, Inc.  has been selected to install two NCR Interactive Teller Machines at Associated Credit Union’s Dobbins ARB branch. Members can simply touch the screen and communicate with a teller associate  in real time, with the teller guiding the Member through the transaction. There is no need for tubes under the ground or a drive up window or even full time tellers, as the Interactive Teller Machines can handle a number of different transactions into multiple accounts. A similar installation was completed (see photo below) at ACU’s Main Office with positive Member feedback.

“We believe that this type of drive thru service will be beneficial to the Dobbins ARB community for a number of reasons: Extended service hours, an additional access point for funds (going from one ATM to two ITMs), additional security – Members would not need to get out of their vehicles to utilize the ITMs, and innovative technology to facilitate timely transactions and offer what today’s Member is looking for; convenience as well as the ability to speak to a live associate to assist with more complex transactions without going into the branch.” notes Michael Huff, VP of Retail Services at Associated Credit Union.

Alabama ONE Credit Union has chosen Consultants and Builders, Inc. to design their new prototype micro-branch with their first planned location in the Montgomery area near Chantilly Parkway. The new branch will be the first built for the credit union utilizing Teller Pods, MSR/Consult Kiosks, ITM’s, re-envisioned marketing, digital displays, and contemporary furnishings. The potential branch site is located near a major high traffic intersection in a rapidly growing suburban corridor enabling further expansion and market presence for Alabama ONE.  The unique exterior design of this 2,300 square foot, free-standing branch exhibits contemporary lines with the warm color palette that is a signature of the credit union and reflective of the nearby growing community. The Member branch entrance and recognizable pillar signage elements maximize visibility and marketing opportunities for the credit union. The design includes two CBI designed prototype drive up ITMs for Members as created for other branch installations earlier this year. The efficient design lowers construction cost, while the integration of advanced technology maximizes operational efficiency and return on investment. CBI has been chosen to partner with Alabama ONE on a number of projects and we look forward to the continued collaboration.

Tuscaloosa based Alabama ONE Credit Union has selected Consultants and Builders, Inc. for the interior and exterior renovation of their Northport Branch to echo the development direction of planned new branches, ITM kiosks, and to further member service objectives. The current project scope for one of Alabama ONE’s busiest branches includes Teller Pod integration, painting and accent walls, flooring upgrades, furniture, millwork, breakroom and restroom renovations, and external ITM integration. Atlanta based CDC Federal Credit Union’s new prototype and freestanding branch has begun construction with heavy equipment on site, wind at our backs, and sun on our face. Nestled into the overall redevelopment plan for Northlake Mall and in the City of Tucker’s Overlay District, the marquee branch is a first for the CDC FCU. Australia Hoover, CDC FCU President & CEO, was joined by Mayor Auman, local business leaders, and Credit Union executives for the groundbreaking of the new CDC FCU Branch.

Consultants and Builders, Inc. is excited for the collaboration on the 3,200 square foot facility being created adjacent to one of the Mall’s primary entries. The location is convenient to members and employees alike and ultimately benefits the community as a whole. Access to I-285, proximity to Atlanta, Downtown Tucker, as well as the CDC FCU’s Main Office were key in the site selection. More updates to come as this exciting project comes further to life.

As we emerge from the pandemic, subsequent material shortages, and product delays, Consultants & Builders, Inc. has completed the MidSouth Community Federal Credit Union Main Office second floor renovation ahead of schedule and under budget. Even with additional client scope and tweaks, CBI swiftly executed the interior buildout in Macon, GA.

Our collaborative scope included LED lighting, painting and accent walls, flooring upgrades, millwork, an expanded Boardroom with new furniture including a kitchenette/refreshment bar, breakroom and mailroom finish updates, office and restroom renovations, and audio visual upgrades. Much success and continued growth for MidSouth Community FCU.

CDC Federal Credit Union Selects CBI for Main Office Master Plan and Renovation

In concert with the ongoing Pro Energy Update of their Main Office, Atlanta, GA based CDC Federal Credit Union has chosen Consultants and Builders, Inc. for a third consecutive project. To create a multiphase Main Office Master Plan, CBI designers are collaborating with CDC FCU’s executives and employees to promote a more fulfilling work environment with additional focus on employee health and safety.

Thinking outside traditional architectural programming, CDC FCU desires to attract new talented employees while keeping current employee veterans engaged. Along with updating current furniture and finishes, the Credit Union plans include better virtual meeting spaces, a fitness area with locker rooms, private nursing and quiet rooms, an outdoor eating space and vending for social distancing, touchless water fountains, bathroom accessories & faucets, and flex offices that can be cleaned and maintained easily. Ultimately the partnership with CBI will create spaces that enable CDC FCU employees to feel secure while also remaining connected, innovative, and part of a fun work culture.
